It’s been a busy first quarter for NZACs with the annual golf tournament raising over $6,000 to support our Peter Jowett scholars study tour. We have launched membership for this year and the Peter Jowett Scholarship topic.

Peter Jowett Awards 2024

The opportunity has come for those in the convenience industry to shine on the local stage once again and win one of two fantastic prizes.

The Peter Jowett Scholarship Award is a unique opportunity for NZACS members to challenge others in New Zealand in thinking about our industry.

The 2024 topic is:

Envisioning the Future

Consider the various disciplines of convenience retailing – marketing, operations, finance, category management, customer engagement etc.

How could AI revolutionise convenience retailers to enhance customer convenience and operational efficiency?

Summary of key dates:

April – Competition launch

May 10th – Registration of interest by emailing Dave Hooker dave@retailworx.co.nz

June 17th – Company internal shortlisting will be completed if required. Presentation summary and contestant bio to Dave Hooker dave@retailworx.co.nz

June 24th – Six finalists confirmed

July 23rd – Peter Jowett Finals at Hilton Auckland
